INTERNATIONAL | Deraphukum.click | In a significant organizational move, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has initiated a comprehensive rotation affecting numerous police chiefs (Kapolres) across the country. This strategic decision encompasses regions from Aceh to Sorong, aiming to enhance the effectiveness and adaptability of the national police force.
According to official sources, this extensive reshuffle involves the reassignment of 67 Kapolres throughout Indonesia. The rotations are part of routine organizational adjustments intended to address retirements, career development, promotions, and the need for fresh perspectives within the force. Such rotations are considered standard practice to maintain the dynamism and responsiveness of the police organization.
In the westernmost province of Aceh, several key positions have been updated:
AKBP Andy Rahmansyah has been appointed as the new Kapolres of Langsa, transitioning from his previous role as Kapolres Aceh Timur.
AKBP Nova Suryandari assumes the position of Kapolres Aceh Timur.
AKBP Mughi Prasetyo Habrianto takes on the role of Kapolres Aceh Selatan.
AKBP Dhani Catra Nugraha is now the Kapolres Aceh Besar.
AKBP Agus Sulistianto steps into the position of Kapolres Aceh Barat Daya.
Moving eastward to Papua Barat, the following changes have been implemented:
AKBP Yohanes Agustiandaru, formerly the Kapolres of Sorong, has been reassigned to a new role within the National Police Headquarters.
AKBP Edwin Parsaoran, previously serving as Kapolres Raja Ampat, has been appointed as the new Kapolres of Sorong.
AKBP I Gusti Gede Raka Mertayasa, formerly the head of a subdivision within the Criminal Investigation Directorate of Papua Barat Police, now serves as Kapolres Raja Ampat.
AKBP Eliantoro Jalmaf, the former Kapolres of Manokwari Selatan, has been promoted to a position within the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.
AKBP Yulianor Abdi has been appointed as the new Kapolres of Manokwari Selatan.
